We are glad to include links to other people's routes  and maps for the Hudson valley.

Here are some that we know of:

• Long Island (mostly) Cue Sheets -- with some Westchester County routes.
   
• Traffic-Free Paths for Families and "Casual" Riders, in the Metro NY area -- Short routes in a variety of places -- like the Croton Reservoir, Bronx River Bikeway, Jones Beach.
   
• New York Cycle Club routes -- routes that start in New York City
   
• Clearwater Revival bike directions -- several routes in Westchester county that connect to Croton Point Park, some starting from New York City -- presented by Time's Up. 
   
• Mohawk-Hudson Cycling Club routes -- Albany and north. 
   
• Orange County Bicycling Club routes
    

• Hudson Valley Bikeways & Trailways map -- Paper copy can be ordered from the NY State Dept of Transportation.  Transportation Alternatives has put this map with some descriptions on the Web (PDF format, large files).

There's a short section of off-road trail along the Hudson from Albany to Watervliet, and about 25 miles more along the Mohawk River from Cohoes through Schenectady to Rotterdam junction.  There is a map graphic on the Schenectady County website of their section, with phone numbers to order a paper copy.
